• What makes your practice different?

We are a team of real people who genuinely care.

From the moment you reach out, to the care you receive in session, our focus is on making sure you feel seen, supported, and never like just another appointment on a schedule.

We take what we do seriously because this is not just a job to us. It is a part of who we are.

Our practice is built on ethical, evidence based care, but we also understand that therapy is a human experience. That means we meet you where you are, not where we think you should be.

We also prioritize the well-being of our therapists, because we believe that when clinicians feel supported, clients receive better care. You are not walking into a burnt out system. You are walking into a space where people are present, engaged, and invested in your growth.

  • What is the process to get started?

Starting therapy does not have to feel overwhelming. We guide you through each step.

First, you can fill out our inquiry form or reach out by phone or email. From there, we gather a little information about what you are looking for, your availability, and any preferences you may have.

Next, we match you with a therapist who feels like the best fit for your needs. You do not have to figure that out on your own.

Once you are matched, we will help you schedule your first appointment and provide you with any intake paperwork and insurance information ahead of time so there are no surprises.

Your first session is a space to slow down and begin. There is no pressure to have everything figured out. We will guide you through it.

If at any point it does not feel like the right fit, we will work with you to find someone who does.

  • What if I don’t feel comfortable with my therapist?

That matters, and it is something we take seriously.

Think of it like this… finding a therapist is a lot like finding the right pair of shoes. You can appreciate how they look, but if they don’t feel right when you’re actually in them, you’re not going to keep wearing them.

Therapy works the same way. The connection matters.

If it does not feel like the right fit, you are not stuck. We will work with you to find someone who feels more aligned with your needs so you can actually get the most out of the experience.

  • Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we accept most major insurance plans.

Once you reach out, we will gather your insurance information and provide a benefit estimate so you have a general understanding of your copay, coinsurance, or deductible. Our goal is for you to feel informed and comfortable moving forward.

Please note that insurance estimates are not a guarantee of coverage. Final costs are determined by your insurance provider after claims are processed.

  • What if I can't afford therapy?

We understand that cost can feel like a barrier, and you are not alone in that.

Investing in your mental health should not feel out of reach, and it also should not create more stress.

We offer a few different options to help make therapy more accessible, including reduced rate intern sessions, pay what you can groups, and an Affordable Therapy Program that offers pro bono and significantly reduced session rates.

If cost is something you are worried about, let us know. We will always do our best to help you find an option that works.

  • How quickly can I be seen?

If you are reaching out in need, we do everything we can to get you scheduled as soon as possible.

Availability can vary, but we prioritize connecting clients to care quickly and will offer the soonest appointment that aligns with your schedule and needs. In some cases, this may be within a few days, and when availability allows, sometimes same day or next day.

Our goal is to balance timely access with making sure you are matched with the right therapist.

  • Can you prescribe medication?

Our therapists do not prescribe medication.

However, one of the benefits of our practice is that we have built strong relationships with trusted psychiatric providers.

When medication support is appropriate, we can connect you with prescribers who collaborate with us to create a team-based approach to your care.

This allows us to work together to support you in a way that feels cohesive, intentional, and aligned with your needs.

  • Do you offer weekend or evening appointments?

Yes, we do offer limited evening and weekend availability.

These times tend to fill quickly, so we recommend reaching out as soon as possible if that is your preference.

We will always do our best to find a time that works with your schedule.

  • What ages do you see?

We work with children as young at 5, adolescents, and adults.

Our team includes therapists with different specialties, which allows us to match you or your child with someone who is experienced in that specific stage of life.

We tailor our approach based on developmental needs to ensure care feels appropriate, supportive, and effective.

  • Im really nervous about starting, is that okay?

    Yes, that is completely okay.

Starting therapy can feel uncomfortable. You are essentially sharing your inner world with someone new, and we do not take that lightly.

Just like you, we are human too. We do our best to create a space that feels safe, comfortable, and supportive while helping you feel understood and normalized in what you are experiencing.

You will never be pressured to talk about anything you are not ready to discuss. We will meet you where you are and move at a pace that feels right for you.
