Dr. Susan Woomer is a warm, relatable therapist who is passionate about helping individuals and couples feel more connected, confident, and emotionally well. She believes therapy should be a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood.

With extensive experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dr. Woomer specializes in treating anxiety disorders and supporting clients who feel overwhelmed by intrusive thoughts, intense emotions, or chronic stress. She works collaboratively with clients to build practical, effective coping strategies that promote lasting change and emotional resilience.

In addition, Dr. Woomer brings valuable experience working with individuals in recovery, informed by her background in inpatient and intensive treatment settings. This perspective allows her to support clients in creating balanced, meaningful lives while navigating the complexities of recovery.

Outside of the therapy room, Dr. Woomer enjoys listening to country music, reading, spending time at the beach, and being with her husband, son, Boerboel mastiff, and three guinea pigs.
